Casa Milagros is situated on a hillside overlooking an entire acre of sprawling natural jungle that leads right down to the sea. The tropical gardens, fruit trees and much more can be observed from our 2000 square foot roof terrace, which also has amazing views of the ocean and the village. Perfect for spotting whales, dolphins, and manta rays jumping and watching the daily comings and goings of locals and visitors.
The house is a 10-minute walk from Yelapa's village center on a high peninsula overlooking the cove and village (we are 182 steps up so walking back home can become a wonderful meditation and keep you fit at the same time!). There is a small beach for swimming/snorkeling/fishing, unfrequented by tourist traffic located just below the casa and the main beach and river mouth is a 20-minute walk away.
Our gracious 40 yr old house boasts three spacious levels. The inner areas are enclosed with screened doors & windows for comfort to and take advantage of the fresh sea breeze. Original tiled floors sweep through the main wing of the house helping to keep bedrooms and communal areas clean, and the large handcrafted kitchen is a wonderful place to inspire any cook or to gather and share time.
The incredible roof terraces and main floor patios in contrast are open to the elements, for you to enjoy the natural beauty from every direction, with all your senses. Sit back, take it all in and let everything go! You may find it hard to peel yourself off your rocking chair...
