Casa Milagros shines as a venue for a diverse spectrum of group workshops in culture and health. On our 2,000 sq ft rooftop patio we have hosted courses and events in yoga, bodywork, cultural dance, live music, ceremonial and spontaneous group meditations, and we welcome gatherings and presentations on any subject. Our spacious and well-equipped kitchen has also hosted a variety of food preparation classes including a recent raw food course.
Groups can either access the kitchen for preparing their own meals, or arrangements can be made for cooks to come in and prepare excellent meals with accommodation for any dietary needs and preferences. The dining patio with stunning views provides an ideal setting for group-bonding communal meals.
The whole house, which can comfortably house 22 people (individuals and couples combined), can be rented at an excellent rate. This allows group leaders to pass along the savings and assure maximum participation for a very successful event. Casa Milagros has seen the return of several groups year after year.
The enchanting spirit of Yelapa is felt strongly at Casa Milagros, which lives up to its name as a “house of miracles” by holding the space for the magic of personal transformation...
Testimonial
The House of Miracles holds true to its name. We have come eight years in a row now for our winter yoga retreat, and are never disappointed. The only nuisance is those darn whales and dolphins swimming by while we are trying to do our yoga on the roof patio, or interupting our fabulous meals on the balcony seating! Antonia (the owner) and Livi and the others are great hosts, fantastic cooks, and there is always a feeling of coming home. The foreign assistants--Anna and Patrick--are extremely kind, heart-centered, deeply conscious and helpful souls. Of course, Yelapa itself is amazing, with NO ROADS OR CARS--one of the things we love most. We also love the combination of surf and turf--not just the food, but the activities. We hike to, and swim in waterfalls, and take boat trips to islands and beaches, often accompanied by more dolphins, whales, sea turtles or manta rays. (The whales even sang to us one year - brought tears to my eyes!). If you need five star pretentious accommodations, try somewhere else, but if you want comfortable rooms, fabulous food, great ambiance, incredible views, bargain prices, and yoga under the pelicans and other amazing soaring birds, try Casa Milagros. (Feel free to contact me for more info regarding my experiences in Yelapa).
